Getting To Dublin Airport

Dublin Airport is approximately 10 km north of Dublin city centre, near the M50 and M1 motorways. You can get to the airport by bus, taxi, or by car.

 

By Car

 

Dropping off/set down zone

If you intend to drop somebody at the airport for a flight there is a designated set down zone beside departures just outside the terminal building.  This is a set down area only anybody that wishes to wait should us the short term car park. Airport Police are in attendance to ensure that this policy is strictly enforced.

 

Unattended vehicles

Vehicles that are not parked in either the short term car park or the long term car park should not be left unattended at any time. Any vehicle found unattended outside a terminal will be either clamped or towed by the airport police. A charge of €140 for recovery of the vehicle will be applied and any vehicle not collected on the day it is removed will incur a further  €35 charge for each day’s storage.

 

By Bus & Coach

The Airport is served by over 700 buses and coaches daily. You can reach many areas in and around Dublin City, as well as various locations outside the capital from out the short term car park. Taxi


To the Airport

Passengers arriving by taxi will be set down outside directly outside the terminal building.

 

From Dublin Airport

Taxis are available for passengers from the short term car park. A taxi dispatcher is available at the taxi rank if you require any further assistance.

 

Display of Fare Information

All licensed taxis are require to display passenger information from rights and responsibilities to fare information, all of which has  been supplied by the Taxi Regulator, in the front and back of the vehicle.

In the event of a dispute you should pay the fare displayed on the meter including any extras and ensure you get a printed receipt and proceed to make a formal complaint which will be investigated in full by the Taxi Regulator as appropriate.
